The most popular drumstick/mallet brand out there

I love them they handle good and they use good wood and have good strength

Lots of professionals use them and so do I

They have sticks for every style
Jazz, Rock, March etc...

When playing Jazz(like me)
I prefer the 7A thickness(like most jazz artists)

Until I found 8D

8Ds are the same thickness as 7A but they are longer and have more reach

Right now I am using 7As but I am getting 8Ds in the future

Vic Firth makes some awesome percussion mallets also

Unfortunately Vic Firth does not make Drums but they put all there work in to sticks and mallets

1st round

NHL Playoffs 1st Round

The First round of the 2008 NHL playoffs was very entertaining

Lots of heros came through but some did not.

The only team that got swept was the Ottawa Sens. Maingly because they were versing the Pittsburgh penguins.

I hope Alex Ovechkin can advance to the next round in Game 7 of the first round

I also hope the San Jose Sharks can beat the Calgary Flames In Game 7
The Sharks deserve it and have tried to get it the past few years.

If the Flyers beat the Capitals I think it would be because of the lack of experience in the playoffs for the Caps team.

Well I hope you are enjoying the Playoffs because I sure am

Its Not Easy

Drums

Everybody can do it
But who can really Do it

Its the Drums, one of the hardest instruments out there.
As I said lots of people can do the basic stuff can't do the stuff that will make you famous

For Example
I know lots of people that can play a good heavy metal beat but can't do a good fill.

They also can't do any other style like
Jazz, Latin, 12/8..........

Good Drummers can do all that almost perfect and include cool and good fills

They also have good solos that are creative and not under pressure when doing them

If I ever become a professional drummer I want to be able to do all styles.

NHL Playoffs

The Best Battle in Hockey

The NHL playoffs
A time when families get together and sit on the couch and watch NHL

Its also when teams get physical and finally realize if they are good or bad

its also been a time when a Canadian team makes to the Stanley cup and losses(past 3 years)

This year it looks like the Montreal Canadians
They have really hot and won the top spot in the East
Its just one of those years that Montreal has to win the cup

Another top contender is Anaheim Ducks

They are the defending champs and are also doing amazing
The Pittsburgh penguins are also up and running this year

The point is there are lots of teams in the playoffs the year that have a good chance

I hope a Canadian team can win it

Jenny Jones

Go Team Canada

Yes!!!!!
Jennifer Jones from Manitoba pushed though and beat China for the first time in the Final!!

It was a great game. Jenny made some great shots and her team performed amazing!!

I think that Canada beat Japan in the Semi final amazingly and then pulled through and beat China in a well matched game.

China on the other hand had a lot of misses and other mistakes which costed them the game.

I hope this momentum goes into the Olympic trials for Jenifer Jones and team Manitoba, Canada and the World!!!!
